The signs were there but I wasn’t listening.

It took being diagnosed with breast cancer for me to realise I was totally stressed out, unhealthy and my hormones were completely out of whack. I didn’t realise I was stressed out, let alone how bad it was.

Here’s the thing: there are proven links between stress, hormones, diet, and lifestyle and the impact they have on our body, mind, health, and fertility.

Once you know it, there’s no way you can ignore it. Not if you want to be in control of what happens to you, not if you want to live life to the max. I revolutionised my life by learning and understanding how stress affects hormones and how they can affect our diet and lifestyle and vice versa.

A new happier and healthier lifestyle

When I came out the other side of my treatment – I knew I needed to turn things around. I read everything I could lay my hands on: from medical journals, research papers to books about nutrition, cancer and so-called Western lifestyle diseases. I studied at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where I learned about dietary theories and how your lifestyle affects your health. I started listening to my body and giving it what it needed to heal and to get back in balance. I stepped into a whole new world of health and wellness.

I took control, said hello to healthy living and healthy foods

As I embarked on this new phase of my life, I reflected on the journey I had been through and the journey I was about to face.  I’m thrilled to say that I have kicked butt like the warrior diva that I am and I have come through the other side a winner – ready for the next phase of living and creating life. It became obvious to me that I need to share what I had learned with others. I went on to write a book – Healing Foods, Healthy Foods, powered up a website, and Rock On Divas was born.

Gloria is very professional and caring, I didn’t really know what to expect when I signed up to her programme. I tried the Rock on Divas Body Boost Health program primarily because I needed to improve my health and wellbeing.
