It took being diagnosed with breast cancer for me to realise I was totally stressed out, unhealthy and my hormones were completely out of whack. I actually didn’t realise I was stressed out, let alone how bad it was. The signs were there but I wasn’t listening.
So when I came out the other side of my treatment I needed to turn things around, I was seriously hungry for information. I ransacked the libraries and read everything I could lay my hands on: medical journals, research papers, medical papers, books about nutrition, books about cancer and the so-called Western lifestyle diseases. I studied at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where I learned about a hundred different dietary theories, and how lifestyle affects your health. I surely learned a lot. I started listening to my body and giving it what it needed to heal and get back in balance, and stepped into a whole new world of vibrant health and wellness, a new healthier lifestyle.

Here’s the thing: there are proven links between stress, hormones, diet and lifestyle and their impact on our body, mind, health and fertility.
No getting away from that. Once you know it, there’s no way you can ignore it. Not if you want to be in control of what happens to you, not if you want to live life to the max – and you can bet I did want that. I wanted it so badly, I revolutionised my life. I learnt and understood how stress affects hormones, and how our hormones affect our diet and lifestyle and vice versa – what we feed ourselves emotionally and physically also directly affects our hormones. I took control, said hello to healthy living and healthy foods, and waved goodbye to bad habits.
As I embarked on the new phase of my life and reflected on the journey I’d been through and still on, it hasn’t been easy but I’m ecstatic I’ve kicked butt like the warrior diva that I am and come through a winner and ready for the next phase of living and creating life. More than that, it was obvious to me that I should share what I knew with the world. So I wrote a book – Healing Foods, Healthy Foods – powered up a website, and started Rock On Divas.
As a holistic health coach, I specialise in women’s health and wellness with a special focus on hormones, preconception health and fertility. I help busy professional, entrepreneurial women overcome fatigue, stress and anxiety of getting pregnant thereby enabling them realize their dream of becoming mums faster than they would on their own. I educate and empower women to make the best health and lifestyle choices, with easy to understand information, to take control of their hormones and boost their fertility, often when other methods have failed.
I do this by utilising my health and wellness program called The Thrive Technique ™.
The Thrive Technique ™ is based on five essential pillars that are the foundation to a healthy body and mind creating a healthy, stress free, balanced life and environment. My mission is to help women get back in touch with their bodies and help them to understand that the signs, symptoms and imbalances they’re experiencing are not normal or something that should just have to ‘put up with’.
The best part of my day is helping them heal and balance their body and witnessing how their optimal health transforms their lives and allows them to live with passion and purpose. I believe women having a clearer understanding of their body will empower them to take the necessary steps to improve their health and overall wellbeing, and create a fertile, thriving body for pregnancy and beyond.
As well as coaching one-on-one and group clients, I run workshops, spa days and retreats, write health articles for several magazines and speak at events.

I tried the Rock on Divas Body Boost Health program primarily because I needed to improve my health and wellbeing.
