Ingredients
2 cups desiccated coconut
3 tbsp. maple syrup
1 – 2 drops wild orange essential oil
4 tbsp. coconut oil
1 tsp. vanilla
100 grams dark chocolate
Directions
- In a food processor, add the desiccated coconut, maple syrup, coconut oil and vanilla and blend on a high setting until it forms a doughy texture
- Roll the mixture in small individual balls and place on greaseproof paper on a tray or plate and chill for a few minutes so they become solid.
- Place the chocolate in a bowl and place in the oven or over a pot of boiling water to melt, add the essential oil and mix thoroughly.
- Dip the chilled coconut balls in the chocolate and coat completely, place them back in the freezer for a few minutes to set
- Take them out and serve. These are sure to disappear within minutes!
