Zingy Ginger Tea

Zingy Ginger TeaI absolutely love ginger and if I could put it in every recipe I would! This is now my new fav tea to have especially through the cold weather, really warms me up!

I got this recipe for ginger tea from a spa I visited in Dubai (Yhi Spa, Melia Dubai), I will be writing about the spa soon so look out for the article! So the spa kindly agreed that I use the recipe and write about it but as usual when I get find recipes that inspire me, I either change them completely or put my own spicy twist on it.

And that’s exactly what I’ve done with this one, I added the turmeric and have used maple syrup once rather than honey but most times I don’t use any sweetener at all (don’t think it really needs it).

This tea is a great anti-inflammatory tea, boosts the immune system, ginger contains loads of vitamin C and also possesses antibiotic and anti-bacterial properties. Adding turmeric powers up those properties like you’ve never known. This tea is so perfect for colds and flu, will totally zap the cold by boosting your immune system, clearing toxins and bacteria from the body – best natural remedy, what else could you ask for!

Try it out different ways, find what works for you and let me know what your variations are in the comments section below. We are all different so let’s all have fun with it and share our twists!!
