This tea infusion is my go-to cup of absolute goodness that cleanses and heals all at once. This infusion is great for colds and flus, and to warm you up during the cold winter days. Now here’s my disclaimer: you have to be careful with this one cause it’s spicy enough to blitz any bacteria in your system right out and blow your head off at the same time so approach with cautionš
Ingredients:
1 – 2 inches ginger (chopped)
1 garlic clove (chopped)
Pinch of freshly ground black pepper
Lemon
2 – 3 cups water
Directions
- Place the first 3 ingredients in a saucepan, add the water and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes
- Turn heat off and leave to sit and infuse for a 15-minutes or more
- Pour through a sieve into your mug, squeeze some lemon juice and enjoy!
