Find out how to lose weight without going on a dreadful diet

how to lose weightFor years now, people have discovered new and easy ways to lose weight and to gain confidence. However, what they don’t tell you is that most diets advertised today never work long-term. In a survey, (psychologyofeating.com) it is shown that over 95% of the people who lose weight during a diet will regain that weight back in 1-5 years. Dieting, by its very own definition, is a temporary food plan. Besides not being able to work long term, diets deprive your body of the much-needed nutrients your body needs to survive, and since your body doesn’t want you to starve, it responds to restrictive diets by slowing your metabolism down, which in turn will make it even more difficult to lose weight.

What do you do now? The problem is that sugar addictive – it boosts the serotonin levels in our brains which make us feel happier and relaxed. But, this is just another band-aid for a problem that won’t help you in the long run. I am not suggesting that you go cold turkey and cut out all sugar immediately, start by decreasing the amount of sugar you consume daily. For instance, if you have 2 teaspoons of sugar in your tea, for one week try 1,5 teaspoons of sugar, next week cut it down to 1 teaspoon and so on. This process will help you wean your body off the sugar and before you know it, you won’t miss sugar at all. Here are another 5 easy ways to get you started on losing your sweet tooth!
