Cleanse Tonic

Now and again we all need to take some time, give our kidneys a bit of a helping hand when it comes to cleaning out toxins.

Here’s a juice recipe which I call my cleanse tonic that helps clean out toxins, reduce inflammation and boosts your immune system. I tend to have this at least twice a week and sometimes add in a teaspoon of spirulina for an antioxidant and mineral boost.

 

Ingredients

1 lime (use 1/2 lemon if you prefer)

1-inch fresh ginger

2 – 3 organic apples

1 cup water

1/2 tsp. turmeric

1 tsp. spirulina, optional

 

Directions

Place all ingredients in a blender and blitz. Enjoy!
